Great Community Give: Shenandoah National Park Trust  

Spring 2024
  • Collaborated with the head of Marketing for the Shenandoah National Park Trust to pitch and execute a "Local Day of Giving" campaign for Harrisonburg's Great Community Give.  

  • Devised email copy to trust subscribers, promoting the Great Community Give.

  • Supported fundraising for the Trust's 'Ticket To Ride' program, providing transportation to the park for Title One Schools.

SOS: Digital Media and Advertisements Coordinator 

Fall 2022
  • Collaborated with the nonprofit New Directions through and Organizationanl Communications class, and a photography class on a cross-disciplinary project that transformed domestic abuse survivors’ stories into meaningful visual artwork

  • Supported the ethical collection and sharing of survivor narratives, culminating in a fundraising art auction with all proceeds benefiting New Directions and its mission to serve survivors

  • Created two transcripts and a filing system to manage all five transcripts and their respective summaries, providing restricted access to protect the interviewee's privacy

  • The research put quantitative reasoning behind the age-old saying "check in on your friends" by measuring Relational Cognitive Distortions of people with suicidal ideation
